  3. Thank you for purchasing The Taran Trilogy, Volume One: Beyond The Wall Of Stars.  We hope it brings you many hours of enjoyment.

  5. In order to get the best performance out of this product, please observe the following recommendations.

  8. RAM requirements:
  9.      You need 2560 KBytes of free RAM available before starting "Beyond The Wall of Stars".
  10.  
  11. System 7.0 only: You may be able to increase the amount of available RAM by reducing the size of the Disk Cache, which is always turned on. Here's how:
  12.         a) Open the "Memory" Control Panel.
  13.         b) Set the disk cache size to 16K.
  14.         c) Restart your Macintosh.

  17. Turn off Virtual Memory (System 7.0 only).  Here's how:
  18.         a) Open the "Memory" Control Panel.
  19.         b) Set "Virtual Memory" to "off".
  20.         c) Restart your Macintosh.

  23. Turn off any "screen savers" which could slow down your Macintosh.

  26. If your Macintosh is on a network, log off of the network.

  29. In general, this product will perform better if your Macintosh is running under System 6.07 or 6.08, as opposed to System 7.0.
